Your vote, your unit, your card.
Saturday 16 January 2027. Make sure your name is on the register, your card is in your hand and your polling unit is no surprise.

Your checklist
- 1Confirm you are registered
More than 103 million Nigerians are on INEC’s register after continuous voter registration ran in three phases between August 2025 and July 2026. If you are not sure your name is on it, check with INEC; its portal shows what is open now.
- 2Collect your permanent voter card
Nationwide collection began on 9 October 2026. Collect your card from your local government INEC office. You must present your card at your polling unit.
- 3Find your polling unit
Your polling unit is assigned when you register. Confirm it with INEC. Ika North East has 238 polling units across 14 wards, and Ika South has 12 wards. You vote only at the unit where you are registered.
- 4Plan your day
Know where your unit is, how you will get there and who is going with you. Go early, stay calm and respect the process.
- 5Protect your vote and your neighbour’s
Selling your vote or your card is an offence. No gift on this site is tied to your vote, and the Academy and the Help Desk are open to everyone.
Who showed up in 2023.
The campaign does not run the register and is not INEC. Always confirm dates and your polling unit with INEC.
